I had occasion to do a web search on equity in the classroom. Interestingly, I didn't find a blog post explaining how the people with the most privilege will raise their hands and just speak out early and often, and you have to actively discourage that if you want to hear from marginalized voices, or even just have some kind of decent balance in the class. Maybe I didn't use the right search terms. If anyone has pointers, please share!
