In stories, the details are relevant, and outcomes make some sort of sense. Out here in the world, not so much. I'm struggling with that.

At the same time, I still strongly agree that stories can tell people that there are others like them out there, and give them words they didn't have before, and offer new possibilities that unlock a trap or a cage.
