As millions of people have shown us in the past 12 months, action is possible, better solutions are available and a better future can be built. We don’t need to fix the entire world at once, but we do need to stretch out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach.

Many of those are very excellent things! (And seem in sharp contrast to what seems to be going on here in the States, but even some of those good news stories are from the States.
