What's your favorite color?

There's a question going around about your favorite crayola color, and someone linked to Complete List of Current Crayola Crayon Colors by Jenny Crowther.

I remember that my favorite was Blue Violet, a deep purple, although it doesn't look that great on screen. I can tell they've changed a lot of the color names (and probably colors) since I was last deeply involved with a box of 64 Crayola Crayons (with the built-in sharpener), and my kid self is shocked and dismayed. They're not allowed to do that! Are they?? Some things are supposed to stay familiar and consistent!

ETA: Here's a list of retired colors.

One of the blue-y greens. (I'd commit to which, but the colors on the paper really are different than the colors on-screen.)

Right? I remember being very fond of both aquamarine and blue-green, but...

Though these days it might be plum.

After decades of rejecting it because of its cultural associations with femininity, I've really gotten into pink lately. I like it! And not just because I'm supposed to!

I would add that I like purple a lot to wear, and reds and oranges a lot to look at on other people.

But greens and blues make me sigh happily.

I've always been a lover of yellows. Laser Lemon looks so pretty to me.

I loved so many of the colors. I liked one of the greens; I think in my childhood it was called yellow-green. I liked raw umber and burnt sienna; I liked magenta; I liked sky blue; I liked mahogany.

What fun memories. I loved coloring.
