Re straight passing privledge - I think there are plenty of folks who are not assumed to be straight, who don't have to be in a context of relationship to be labeled and at risk.
I haven't read the article, and I do think the " inability to pass" is less about sexual identity than gender presentation. Still, I am very aware that I do have straight passing privledge.
