Not looking for hitchhikers, either

I was scratching my ear, and heard, quite close to it, BZZZZZZ. I shook my head wildly, and heard BZZZZ. Did that again a couple of times, tweaked my neck (quit hurting quickly, whew), and went to the bathroom for my hairbrush. Gingerly brushed at my hair which was loose after washing it, and soon enough a bee was walking up the shower curtain. I ushered it out the bathroom window. Thank you for not stinging me! Stay in the lavender where you belong!
No indoor nests. No hitchhikers in my hair. No further insect encounters! (Are bees and wasps insects? Yes, says wikipedia, and apparently that wasp was a mud dauber.)
