Rorospols

Sundays I bike down to International folk dancing, dance for 3 hours, and bike home again. So Monday night dancing is a hard sell for me, even though the Scandinavian group is very warm and welcoming. Tonight they were teaching Rorospols, though, which I know just well enough to know I like it and have a lot more to learn. So I biked over there, learned happily, danced some of the other dances, and then came home again.

What you can't tell so much from this video is that it's a flirtatious dance, lots of eye contact as you do the figures. Fun! Also, syncopated steps against the music, which keeps this Balkan dancer interested.
