I agree, and at the same time I think it's dangerously easy to use sincerity as a "get out of appropriation free" card. The more I delve into the details, the more complicated it gets, what with communist gov't-sponsored dance troupes, the suppression of Roma/Gypsies, etc. I suppose all I can do is keep learning and be as respectful as I can.
