Whew. Glad to hear that you weren't too damaged! Sometimes a fall causes me to shake, and sometimes is just causes me to laugh at the absurdity of it all.
Do you wear a helmet? If you do, and it didn't even hit the pavement, it's strongly recommended to replace it. (The skin/foam/skin construction of helmets these days can be compromised by a sharp jerk without touching.)
I'm glad you could turn the engine of your fall into a handrail for two!
