I found that essay very validating to read, for Reasons.

Reasons you were not promoted that are totally unrelated to gender by Homa Mojtabai. I already had this queued to post, and saw a tweet from a co-worker yesterday about being told that she doesn't promote herself enough. AUGH!!!!!
