Comic: Wonderment (Robot Hugs)

I'm really enjoying the Robot Hugs comics. I want to say I like their gentleness, but this one in particular is quite sharp about concern trolling directed at people who aren't speaking out about sexual violence right now. I like how they interact with the world, let's put it that way.

Yes, to Robot Hugs.


And, Yes, to a critic who knows enough to phrase things as "I wonder" as opposed to bluntly leveling the charge. Admittedly, "it makes me wonder" is more blunt than a question beginning with "i wonder" -- but i wonder if the culture has actually inched towards using open language?


*Sigh* i doubt it, but it would be nice.

I suspect this particular critic was using "wonder" in a more forceful and negative way. You might be right that we're inching toward more open language, if critics feel the need to use it too.

I do like Robot Hugs. And now perhaps I will put it in the feed.

I also enjoy the way that the wonderer gets rather pointedly told about all the things that they could wonder about productively. I don't think they will, and probably not quietly, but it's a good discussion.

Yeah, I wanted to stand up and cheer about the way the critic got TOLD, all in a light, positive but in no way malleable tone.
