I love Oregon's paper ballot vote by mail system. I sat at home and filled out the ballot, then biked it over to the library and dropped it in a ballot box.

What's your plan for voting?

I still go to my polling place. Sooner or later (probably sooner) I won't be able to do that.

I filed for absentee, since things are a little crazy now. Wish we had permanent absentee like civilized places. I have my notes and guides in place, so it should be easy going. I usually kind of enjoy the ritual of heading to the polling place.

Vote by mail. SF has the League of Pissed Off Voters, which I follow. I'm invited to two different voting brunches where I could fill out my ballot in company, but I'm nursing a broken ankle, so I might pass.

The voting brunches are a good idea! Harder with a broken ankle though. I hope that's healing well, and that voting goes smoothly.

I'm gonna go get an absentee ballot in the next couple days, because I'm doing Election Protection and maybe driving people to the polls on the day of.

Already did, by mail. Been doing it by absentee vote since the 2016 general (in FL you can check a box on the mailer to vote by mail again).

I've got clinicals every Tues until December, so I signed up for an absentee ballot. I haven't filled it out yet, because life, but I have today off (well, except housework and homework!) so it will go in the mail today.

Haven't filled it out yet, but I became a permanent absentee voter in California as soon as they put in electronic voting machines, which I trust about as far as I can throw them. Fortunately, I believe our county is moving to an all-mail-in ballot system (with options for dropoff).

I hadn't thought about how absentee ballots can avoid using electronic voting machines (which I don't trust either). Yay!

We're permanent absentee voters, so I have been slowly working my way through the ridiculous number of propositions on the ballot. We always drop it off at a polling place on election day, so I have a bit of time to finish up.
