Apr. 29th, 2020 10:06 pmMegachoirasorus Virtual Edition - With A Little Help From My Friends via
radiantfracture. A distance musical collaboration. Heartwarming! (Even if the video of the drummer isn't quite synced up, at least when I view it.)
Less joyfully, ( We're losing musicians. )
And, JamKazam, which claims to allow real-time musical collaboration over the internet, sent out an email saying they aten't dead, and here's a page of help videos. As they suggest, I ordered a thunderbolt-to-ethernet converter instead of the USB-to-ethernet one I was using before, but I haven't tried to see if that's good enough for their app yet.
This forum discussion post says the physics just doesn't work out, but I want to see how far I can get with JamKazam. Anything I do to reduce latency will help me with all the other Zoom stuff I do, including dancing.
