Book progress
Dec. 29th, 2020 09:35 pmI asked a friend for help with choosing a photo for the back cover of Embodying Hope, and we looked at the options together over Zoom. Once she indicated her preference, it settled in as the obvious choice, which is a relief.

I'm holding this double view of the whole project: "No one else cares," and, "I want each detail to be carefully crafted and polished." It really is embodying hope in itself to make a physical book when I'm not seeing physical clients!
I'd like to be done with the book by the end of January: uploaded to LightningSource, physical proof received and approved, and available for sale. I don't think the copy editing schedule will allow for that, though. Maybe I can target end of February instead. Aside from just wanting to be done, I don't think there's any scheduling pressure. I suppose it does talk a fair amount about the pandemic, so I want to publish it while that's still current.
