[personal profile] radiantfracture is inviting people to post length of day and true night for the solstice. He has a lot of northerly readers!

Through that post I found TimeandDate's page for Sunrise, Sunset, and Daylength (Portland OR). You can search for your locale at the top of the page.

When we get heatwaves in August, I'm grateful that at least they're not in June with the really long days. Well, this year we're getting heatwaves right at solstice. Okay then. At least this year the high temp is going below 90F between spikes?

At winter solstice I've posted about Why sunrise keeps getting later after solstice. After summer solstice, sunset gets a couple of minutes later for the same reasons.
