mrissa posted a short story recommendation list with lots of great stories!

Here are a couple I liked:
Cassandra Draws the Four of Cups by Ruthanna Emrys. It contains dire-looking content warnings, but they're mostly brief or off-screen.

A Sharp Breath of Birds by Tina Connolly. This has its uncomfortable places, but ends well.
