In New York,RitchieTorres just became the first openly gay Black man elected to Congress! MondaireJones is currently leading in his congressional race to hopefully become the second.
Over in Missouri,CoriBush crushed the polls last night and is now the first Black woman elected to represent Missouri in Congress.
In state legislature news, New Mexico’s entire House delegation will now be made up of women of color!
In Delaware, a huge win fromSarahEMcBride to become the first openly transgender state senator and the highest-ranking transgender official in the U.S.
