I never found much that fit me in shopping malls, and now I can't shop there at all, since anything I buy comes home reeking of perfume. Makes me wonder if they spray it on everything intentionally. I have a (relatively) big butt and (relatively) short legs, so buying pants is an ongoing trial.* On top of that, I demand natural fabrics.

Next to where they hold the annual Veselo folk dance festival in Eugene, there is a cute little store Oregon Cotton Mill with a very friendly proprietor. I noticed it 3 years ago, and happily bought generously-sized cotton pants that I wear all the time. These and these.

This year, unfortunately, they were closed over the festival weekend because they're going internet-only. I'm bringing this up because 1) the pants are on sale, 2) they've discontinued those versions for a "more fitted" pattern, boo, and 3) I figured others might have a hard time finding clothes they like, too.

Those are not affiliate links and I don't get anything back from the store, etc. Just a happy customer.

* Actually I am average height and size for an American woman, but the fashion industry is a whole other story.

I feel you on the perfumes at the mall. I've found net-sourced stuff to be much less fragrant. If you have pants you like that fit you nicely, you could consider having someone make you more. Lurking in a fabric store or at cosplay-events with a reverse business card -- I'm Sonia and I'd like you to make me pants, here's my contacts -- might be productive.
