L'Shana Tova

Today I named out loud to someone that I was feeling dissonance with them where usually there is resonance, and it improved the situation.
I want to believe and feel that what I can do is enough, what we can all do is enough, and things will get better.
What I feel in my bones is the need to hunker down and hold on in the face of the storm.
It feels better to stop and acknowledge the sense of bewilderment and wrongness. Not mine to fix. I am already doing what I can, living with as much integrity and alignment with the natural world as I can manage.
The insistent sense of wrongness and bewilderment is still there, the sense that this isn't how things were supposed to go.
In the face of all that, L'Shana Tova. Happy new year. Apples and honey for sweetness and hope.
ETA:conuly linked to this rant saying it should be Shana Tova. Precise linguistics aside, "L'Shana Tova" is what I learned from my German Jewish parents and grandparents and I suspect it might have come sideways from Yiddish. But anyway it's correct and traditional in my heritage!
