The New Covid Wave by Eric Topol, via thistleingrey. It's a substack newsletter, so you might have to click the small print "Learn More" to read without subscribing. Graphs and data and scientific talk about which variants are rising and falling. I had lost track of where to get solid Covid information, so I was glad to see this, even if it's not good news about another wave starting.

The most heartening thing about it is the array of tools that are available to try and blunt the surge and the damage that it will do, and the least heartening thing about it is the certainty that those tools will not be used in the quantities that are necessary for them to be the most effective.

Good reminder that this isn't the *worst* timeline, but it definitely could be better!
