Tower puzzle with beads

soniaA while ago melannen posted about fabulous twisty puzzles, and it reminded me of this cool tower puzzle I have with six columns of graduated color beads.
One of the things I love about it is the spring-loaded recess for one of the beads, so that the columns look complete when it's solved, but you can also create the needed empty space to move beads around.
I saw a kid doing speed moves on a Rubik's cube in line at Trader Joe's today. Made me smile.
