Story! The Cricket and the Moth

The Cricket and the Moth by Jared Oliver Adams. This one starts out in a difficult place, and life gets better for the characters from there. A lovely depiction of the characters from their own points of view. It left me smiling.

It reminded me a bit of Dreaming in Silver and Void by frith_in_thorns, which asks, what if a tardigrade were a person.

I read the tardigrade one first and it was amazing. So I came to the Cricket/Moth thinking they were kinden as well.
