Possible book marketing coach

I recently connected with a coach who might be able to help me with book marketing, after I've been threading from referral to referral the last few months trying to find a good fit. Lots of people have strong opinions about exactly how to do book marketing, which involves sites I don't use like Twitter and Instagram and Facebook, and amounts of time I don't have available while working full time.

This coach is a white man, which gives me pause, but he seems to listen well, and in the initial free session he helped me get clear on why I want to keep marketing my books. Because they can help people heal from trauma, and I put an immense amount of work and value into them, so they're a good way for me to help make the world better. I'm not sure what marketing strategy will emerge, but I feel clearer that one is possible, and that it's worth putting work into my website, etc. to improve the odds.

We're going to meet once a month, starting next Friday, and I'll have time between meetings to do my homework, whatever that turns out to be. Maybe not so much in April, but I'll do my best around everything else.

The books have barely sold at all since I closed my business, and Embodying Hope didn't get a good launch during pandemic lockdown, so it feels good to give them another chance to reach more people.

That's a good point! Thanks for letting me know. Looks like we can have 5 sticky posts, so I added this one for now, and I can think about a more formal post later.
