Emojis popup from starwatcher.
On Windows: Hold down the Windows key plus the period, and you get a popup of emojis to select. If you don't see what you want, type the word, and emojis that match that word will be displayed.
On Mac: Function-E or Command-Control-Spacebar 😍😀 (Just tried them both, they both work for me!)

Goodness gracious I could spend weeks exploring the "niche info" directory.

And fn-e is going to save my sanity.

There are a lot of other functions invoked with spacebar in macOS:

• Spotlight search (command-spacebar)
• Finder search (option-command-spacebar)
• 1password search  (shift-command-spacebar)

so being able to offload one to a fn key is a win!

Glad to provide entertainment!

That's too bad about the Mac symbols not being pronounced - they looked cool! I use the Spotlight search all the time, but I didn't know about the other shortcuts, thanks!
