Was the election rigged

In my ongoing series about whether the 2024 election was stolen, I ran across a link to Newsweek with a quote from Trump about Musk, Jan 20, 2025. "He knows those computers better than anybody. All those computers. Those vote-counting computers," Trump told the crowd. "And we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide."

We know they rigged the game as much as they could with voter suppression tactics, and they're doubling down now that they're in power. Did they also mess with the actual vote totals? We don't know. But I blame the Democrats for having power for four years and not ensuring that the vulnerable electronic voting machines were eliminated, or at least required to be audited.

"Everything is computer" was a quote from Trump when he was sitting inside the Tesla in his "President as car salesman" phase that happened either yesterday or five hundred years ago. It has inspired a lot of memes, and I am not sure that I trust that Trump knows what he is talking about when he uses the word "computer."

I'm kind of wary of theories like that, but it's not implausible.

Yeah, I understand the wariness. And, as someone working adjacent to computer security, it's painfully plausible in both elections where he was declared the winner.

I can't imagine that they would be able to pull off such a thing, honestly, but I share your disdain for the Democrats not making more sure that voting had more safety features in it, without going to the anti-immigrant, anti-poor methods that the Republicans routinely use for disenfranchisement.

Well, I hope you're right about that, because it improves our odds of being able to turn this mess around sooner rather than later.
