Story! "The Bee Wife" by Francesca Forrest

asakiyume kindly sent me her story "The Bee Wife," and I loved it. The characters and relationships and details of their world feel solid and present, and it feels good to spend time with them. The story is about grief, and love, and the unintended consequences of trying to protect people from grief. The ending touches on maintaining relationships in community even after terrible wrongdoing.

I'm curious about this community and the magic of the bees, and would love to read more about them someday.
