For one brief shining moment...

... things seem to be going well.

I have heat, electricity, internet, and hot water all at once.

While President Biden is not ideal, he is not actively trying to destroy the country. (I had to remind myself that I'm willing to type the president's name now, after four years of strictly avoiding it.)

I got my second vaccine, I'm over the body aches from that, and my baseline anxiety level has gone down significantly.

Covid infection levels are decreasing all around the country.

My Embodying Hope books arrived! UPS claimed they were "out for delivery" two days in a row and finally delivered them on the third day. A surprising number of the books are imperfect, but enough are sellable that I feel well supplied. Presumably LightningSource will replace the bad ones, although of course I haven't heard back about that yet.

I uploaded my videos for this Virtual Choir Project from Zado and Kitka. I sang the middle (melody) in Zaspo Janko (Michele Simon audio) and also the middle, group 2 (harmony) in Dragana i Slaveja (Koutev Choir audio 😍). I originally signed up for the high part, group 2 in Dragana, but I just couldn't make it sound good. After breaking down in tears, I wrote to them yesterday to change my part and then recorded a passable middle part today. Whew. Glad to be done with that!
