soniaI got paid today for the last five months of unemployment benefits! It hasn't really sunk in yet. Thanks again to sanguinity for suggesting I email my legislator. I did that again recently and I think that's what finally led to the phone call which led to the logjam being broken. Yay!
AND they just announced that self-employed folks can take expenses into account retroactively, so I should get some more money at some future point. There are some weeks where I didn't bother to submit a claim because I was over the limit, and now I'm not, so I don't know if those are recoverable. Still, much better than nothing.
Here's hoping that lots of other people are getting what they need today too.
