This paragraph grabbed me. It's even better in context.

I hadn't known either. "Harrowing" is a good word for it. Really bad things can happen randomly for no reason whatsoever. And be withstood with grace. (Hey, that reminds me, I tried to post on your blog in response to a New Year's entry about spirit, and I don't think it ever went through.)

On the upside, it puts my health challenges in context. On the downside, good thing, because I don't have family around to pick up the slack.

Thanks for checking. Most likely it's a cookies issue. I have been reluctant to allow blogger to save cookies on my machine, since I don't like being tracked everywhere I go.
