You may have heard that AOC won her re-election, but so did the entire squad! AOC , RashidaTlaib , IlhanMN , and AyannaPressley are all returning to Congress.

In New York, RitchieTorres just became the first openly gay Black man elected to Congress! MondaireJones is currently leading in his congressional race to hopefully become the second.

Over in Missouri, CoriBush crushed the polls last night and is now the first Black woman elected to represent Missouri in Congress.

In state legislature news, New Mexico’s entire House delegation will now be made up of women of color!

In Delaware, a huge win from SarahEMcBride to become the first openly transgender state senator and the highest-ranking transgender official in the U.S.

Thank you. I'd already seen that the Bronx was going to get NYC's first Black LGBTQ congressmember, but not that the city looks likely to send to gay Black men to Congress.
